It takes about 10 minutes to read this article

This article outlines how to set graphics quality in the editor.

1. Why set graphics quality?

  • When the client launches the game, the system automatically match different levels of graphics quality depending on the model Player uses.
  • Developers can set the graphics quality of the main viewport and running viewport to simulate the display of assets and scenes at different levels of graphics quality when developing games.

2. How do I set graphics quality in the editor?

Step.1

Click the Settings button on the far right side of the editor toolbar. Click and the Settings window appears.

Step.2

Click Editor Settings in the window and select Graphics Quality.

Step.3

Graphics quality grading simulations are divided into editor graphics quality simulations and mobile quality. The higher the level set, the better the graphics quality. In this case, Level 1 is the lowest and film graphics quality is the highest.

  • Editor graphics quality simulation: Graphics quality ratings are only available for developers to preview the client's graphics quality effects in the main viewport and running viewport.

  • Mobile graphics quality: When starting a client experience, the system automatically match the graphics quality rating based on the model, and the alternate graphics quality is used when the model is not matched.

Step.4

All settings in the Editor Settings are effective immediately, and the settings are completed when selected.
